Corning, CA – Fatal Accident on South Avenue Saturday Evening

Corning, CA (February 25, 2019) – On Saturday, February 23, around 7:05 p.m., a fatal accident took place on South Avenue that took the life of one party and seriously injured others.

According to police reports, a van and sedan collided for reasons that are not yet known. Medical crews were immediately dispatched to the scene where they found that one person tragically lost their life. The name of the deceased will be disclosed, pending notification of the next-of-kin.

Several others were also injured at the scene of the crash. The names of the victims and the extent of their injuries have also not yet been released.

The circumstances of the accident are still being determined.
