Covina, CA – Serious Injuries Pedestrian Accident at Hollenbeck Avenue and Arrow Highway

Covina, CA – (July 14, 2018) – An unidentified 53-year-old man was reportedly the victim of a pedestrian crash at the intersection of Hollenbeck Avenue and Arrow Highway early Friday morning. According to a local news source in Covina, the injurious accident apparently occurred at approximately 5:20 a.m.

A preliminary investigation showed that the pedestrian had been crossing Hollenbeck Avenue in a section with a clearly labeled “do not walk” sign. A pickup truck then drove through the intersection and unfortunately hit the man. Emergency responders who immediately arrived on the scene quickly transported the injured man to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center to be treated. As of Friday night, the victim remained in critical condition.

There is no immediate information available on the whereabouts or the identity of the suspect. The accident is currently under investigation in order to clearly establish all the events that led to the crash.
