Crash Involving Truck and 2 Cars on Highway 99
A collision involving a semi-tractor trailer truck and two vehicles caused serious injuries to at least one person. The accident occurred on Highway 99 at Avenue 152 around 9:15 p.m. Sunday night.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred after a small green vehicle shifted beneath the big rig truck and was subsequently forced off the roadway. As a result, a jeep was also drawn into the accident. Upon arriving at the scene, first responders discovered that one individual had fractured their arm, and medical care was administered to this victim as well as the others involved in the crash. Details regarding the severity of these injuries have not been released to the public, but none of them appeared to be life-threatening.
First responders directed traffic around the accident and further documented the scene for later review. The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation and officials are not sure at this time about what caused the first car to travel beneath the truck.
