Crash on the 80 Freeway in Auburn, CA Kills One
A traffic accident Sunday morning has left at least one person dead in Auburn, California according to CHP officials.
Occurring around 7:35 a.m, the fatal crash caused delays along the westbound lanes of the 80 Freeway near the Bowman off-ramp, though traffic was redirected around the accident to improve the flow of traffic.Â
While details of the accident are still developing, at least one fatality has been confirmed by CHP officials and officers at the scene as a result of the accident. Officials are currently delaying the release of the victim’s name until next of kin has been notified. As of posting, no further information relating to injuries or road closures has been reported.
