Crescent City, CA – 1 Injured in Major Collision on Howland Hill Rd
Crescent City, CA (June 19, 2019) On the 17th of June, a major car collision happened at the intersection of Howland Hill Road and Humboldt Road. A red Dodge Ram pickup truck collided with a white Toyota Echo near the Sovereign Nation of Elk Valley Rancheria at around 4:40 p.m.
When emergency personnel arrived, they found both vehicles damaged. The Toyota sedan sustained major front-end damage as a result of the accident. Tow trucks helped remove both vehicles from the intersection. The paramedics found at least one person injured and tended to them accordingly.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident to determine what led up to the major crash.
