Crescent City, CA – Possible Injuries Reported after Two-Vehicle Collision along Intersection of Parkway Drive and Sherwood Lane

Crescent City, CA (August 16, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported victims may have suffered injuries as the result of a two-vehicle collision that took place along the intersection of Parkway Drive and Sherwood Lane. Officers initially logged the accident a little before 6:30 AM in the morning on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

According to initial reports from the CHP, a Recology trash vehicle and a 4-door sedan were traveling in the Crescent City area and, for indeterminate reasons, collided at Parkway and Sherwood. Sometime later, emergency teams were dispatched to the crash site and provided medical aid to an unspecified number of victims, who may have been injured.

Afterward, officials called in a tow truck to maneuver the sedan, which may have suffered a flat tire along its driver’s side.

As of now, the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. As more evidence continues to surface, more information will be released to public sources.
