Cressy, CA – Man and Woman Injured in Car Crash on Santa Fe Drive

Cressy, CA (February 21, 2019) – On Wednesday, police reported that a man and a woman were injured in a head-on car crash that took place around 7:19 p.m on Santa Fe Drive.

The accident, according to police, took place between a GMC pickup truck and a Ford Escape. A 23-year-old man was driving the GMC and heading eastbound when his vehicle suddenly veered into the opposite lane and struck the Ford. The 30-year-old woman in the Ford had two children in the vehicle, which was overturned upon impact.

Paramedics immediately responded to the scene, where they found the woman with a variety of injuries and transported to the hospital. The man in the GMC suffered a broken ankle and was also hospitalized. The two young children in the Ford did not have injuries.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time to determine fault.
