Crows Landing, CA – Driver Killed in Fatal Accident on Crows Landing Road

Crows Landing, CA (February 13, 2019) – A 47-year-old man from Antelope was killed in a fatal accident, while his 25-year-old passenger, Frankie Farwell, of Orangevale, was critically injured. The accident was deemed a rollover and took place on Crows Landing Road.

The driver, who is currently unidentified, lost control of his GMC for unknown reasons at around 7:30 a.m. Monday, causing him to leave the south edge of Crows Landing Road, where it then overturned on the shoulder of the roadway and collided with an almond tree. The driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts at the time. Police say the driver was partially ejected and tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.

Farwell was also ejected alongside the road and found by paramedics. They transported her to the hospital by air ambulance where she remains at a local trauma center, where her condition is currently unknown.

The crash remains under investigation by police at this time, though a report from the California Highway Patrol suggests drugs and/or alcohol were likely involved.
