Culver City, California (June 26, 2018) – Local news sources reported that a female police officer was injured during a hit-and-run accident that took place on Freeway 405, close to the intersection of Bristol Parkway and Centinela Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 1:40 AM in the early morning on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. At this time, authorities have not revealed the identity of the female officer and have not located the hit-and-run offender.
As per the report, the female officer was providing assistance to a victim of domestic violence. Without warning, an unidentified male driver crashed his silver Cadillac Escapade into the side of her patrol car, which careened off the freeway. The impact sent the police car crashing into a pillar of the freeway. Following the accident, paramedics extracted the officer from the vehicle and took her to a local hospital to receive treatment.
Meanwhile, the Cadillac driver did not remain at the scene of the crash and fled.
At present, officials are investigating the accident. As more evidence surface, more information will be released to the public.
We send our most heartfelt prayers and most loving thoughts to the police officer during this difficult time of healing and wish her a fast and efficient recovery.
Based on this information, the Cadillac driver will be held accountable for causing the accident and, ultimately, the injuries sustained by a police officer. Hit-and-run incidences are serious crimes, and anyone who flees the scene of an accident can face serious charges.
In this case, the victim of the accident can file a personal injury lawsuit against the offender. By seeking legal assistance, this individual can receive much-needed compensation for a variety of issues including medical bills, personal injuries, insurance, and the preservation of well-being.
