Davenport, CA- Bicyclist Killed in Accident on Hwy 1 Near Cement Plant Rd

Davenport, CA (May 24, 2019)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a collision on Highway 1 at Cement Plant Road left a bicyclist dead on Thursday at approximately 9:44 pm.

The report stated that five or more vehicles hit the bicyclist, including a gold Ford Fusion and a blue Toyota Prius.

The accident slowed traffic on Highway 1 northbound as officials investigated the scene.

Additional details about the crash, including the victim’s identity, are not currently available.

The crash is under investigation.
