Davis, CA – Injuries Reported at Car Crash at 2nd Street and Cantrill Drive

Davis, CA (March 8, 2019) – Police say that a car crash that happened at 2^nd Street and Cantrill Drive led to injuries in multiple people on Wednesday, March 6, around 9:00 a.m.

Police say that the accident took place between a Kia and a Nissan in the area. The Kia had been in the westbound lane of 2^nd Street when it suddenly collided with the Nissan in the intersection that was traveling from the other direction.

One of the vehicles was hit with such force that it was sent onto a railroad track nearby. One track was closed to clear the scene but train travel was not affected that morning.

The extent of the injuries has not yet been released and the names of those involved are still unknown.
