Delano, CA – Jose Rosas Injured in Two-Car collision on Hwy 99

Delano, CA (June 4, 2019) On the morning of June 4^th, a major accident between two vehicles occurred on Highway 99. A blue Ford Focus was traveling north on the highway when it lost control and struck a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The impact of the crash caused the pickup truck to veer off the highway and crash into a freeway sign. As a result, the driver of the pickup truck ejected onto the roadway. The accident happened at approximately 5:55 a.m.

When the paramedics responded to the accident, they found the driver of the pickup truck seriously injured and immediately airlifted him to Kern Medical Center for treatment. He has been identified as 32-year-old Jose Rosas. Unfortunately, the driver of the Ford ran away from the scene and left his car on the freeway.

Authorities are still investigating the accident and searching for the driver responsible.
