Desert Hot Springs, CA – School Bus Accident Leaves One Injured

Desert Hot Springs, CA (March 5, 2019) – In Desert Hot Springs, a school bus accident left an adult injured near the area of Palm Drive and Dillon Road around 10:30 yesterday morning.

The accident took place between a Toyota Corolla and a bus from the Palm Springs Unified School District. At the time, the 20-year-old female driver of the Corolla was traveling southbound when she ran into the rear of the bus.

Paramedics quickly responded to the accident, where they found that the bus had been carrying nine adult passengers and four student aides. The bus had been waiting at a red light at the time of the crash.

The bus driver and two adult passengers complained of pain sustained in the accident while only one person was hospitalized for their injuries. Police say that the driver of the Toyota had been traveling too fast for conditions when the accident occurred.
