Devore, CA- Serious Injuries in Multi-Car Crash on 15 Fwy Near 215 Fwy

Devore, CA (June 26, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle crash that resulted in serious injuries on Monday at approximately 4:55 pm.

According to the CHP, the crash happened for unknown reasons on the 15 Freeway, near the 215 Freeway. Witnesses stated that a Chevy Tahoe SUV, a maroon Toyota Camry, a black Ford F-150, a blue Jeep, and a white Kia sedan collided in the southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway. In addition, two vehicles stopped in the northbound lanes.

The accident required the closure of lanes No. 1-3. A Sig Alert was made at 5:15 pm in order to clear the damaged vehicles and commence the investigation into the cause of the crash.

The crash resulted in multiple injuries, including injuries to children. At least two individuals were extricated by firefighters from the Chevy Tahoe, which overturned in the collision. Those individuals sustained serious injuries.

Some of the individuals in the Tahoe were transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Other injured parties were taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
