Dinuba, CA. 1 Dead and 1 Hospitalized in Accident at Avenue 408 and Road 104

Dinuba, CA. (July 4, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a car accident early Wednesday morning that involved two vehicles and resulted in one death and one person hospitalized. The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Road 104 and Avenue 408 at approximately 4:25 a.m. according to reports.

One of the vehicles involved apparently crashed into a power pole after the collision. Sadly, one victim was reportedly killed during the crash due to extensive injuries, and one other had to be airlifted to a local hospital. The condition of the victim who was airlifted is currently unknown. The cause of the accident is not known at this time. Additionally, investigators reported that one of the drivers involved in the crash was picked up at the scene by another vehicle and apparently fled.

The investigation will possibly focus primarily on locating the driver who fled the scene as they were most likely responsible for the collision. No further information concerning any names of those involved or the events that led to the accident have been released.
