Dinuba, CA – Rear-End Accident Involving Truck at Avenue 384

Dinuba, CA (April 3, 2019) – On Tuesday, police responded to the scene of a rear-end accident involving a truck and a motor vehicle that happened at Avenue 384 and Road 56.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash took place around 4:06 p.m. when a truck overturned in the intersection when it was struck by a vehicle from behind. The impact was so forceful that the truck swerved off the road, rolled, and landed on its side in the area of a horse ranch.

The operator of the truck was disoriented following the crash. Paramedics transported to the man to the hospital for treatment of a variety of injuries but he is expected to recover.

Police do not know the details regarding the condition of the other driver involved in the accident. Following the crash, the crossing at the roadway was closed down so that an investigation could take place.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
