Dinuba, California – Two Victims Pinned Inside Wreckage after Deadly Multi-Vehicle Collision

Dinuba, California (June 26, 2018) – California Highway Patrol reported that a deadly collision between a semi-truck, minivan, and a possible third vehicle had taken place at the intersection of Highway 201 (Avenue 400) and Road 56. The accident occurred at approximately 11:56 AM on the morning of Tuesday, June 26, 2018. At present, authorities have not revealed any details surrounding the identities of the drivers and passengers involved in the crash. Despite initial descriptions, more detailed information about the vehicles has not been disclosed.

CHP has not determined what caused the accident. For unknown reasons, the vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 201 and Road 56.

Following the crash, the Tulare County Fire Department arrived on the scene to help two occupants, who were trapped inside the van. Due to the state of the wrecked vehicle, department officials had to utilize Jaws of Life to extract the victims. Later, the two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of minimal to severe injuries. CHP reports hinted the truck driver was uninjured, but the state of the truck itself has not been revealed.

As of 12:20 AM, Police conducted a thorough investigation of the crash site. Ultimately, the semi-truck and minivan were removed from the scene.
