Dixon, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Collision at Dixon Avenue West and Meridian Road

Dixon, CA (August 18, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a collision that resulted in an injured motorcyclist at the intersection of Dixon Avenue West and Meridian Road on Saturday evening in Dixon. According to the report, the crash which transpired between a motorcycle and one other vehicle took place just shortly after 6:00 p.m.

Officials from the California Highway Patrol stated that they received a call about a blue Ford Expedition that had collided head-on with a motorcycle at the aforementioned intersection for unknown reasons. Paramedics were promptly called to the scene where they found the injured rider down in the roadway. The victim was reported to be unconscious at the time.

The injured rider was immediately transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries that were classified as major. The victims’ motorcycle suffered significant damage as it was stuck underneath the Expedition following the crash.
