Dixon, CA – Two Vehicle Crash On Batavia Road at Midway Road

Dixon, CA (July 24, 2018) – A collision between two vehicles reportedly took place at the intersection of Batavia Road and Midway Road that resulted in injuries on Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officials reported a white Toyota Camry and a green minivan as the two vehicles involved in the accident which transpired at approximately 2:55 p.m.

As per the report, one of the vehicles involved ended up striking a tree after hitting a fire hydrant and overturning due to the impact of the crash. Fire department personnel along with other emergency responders arrived on the scene to assist anyone who may have been injured. At least one person was apparently pinned inside their vehicle following the crash. That victim has been described as an elderly woman who firefighters immediately extricated from the vehicle. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital via ambulance.
