California’s Motorcycle Accident Facts
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that 80% of people who experience a motorcycle accident will sustain injuries. Many of these crashes will cause permanent disability or death. The NHTSA further reported that 20% of drivers and passengers in cars will experience injury or death.
These statistics prove that motorcycle accidents cause much more damage than car accidents. Motorcyclists are always more vulnerable than others on the road due to their smaller size and lack of external protection.
