El Dorado County, CA – Major Injuries Sustained in Motorcycle Accident on Cosumnes Mine Road
El Dorado County, CA – (November 12, 2018) – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Somerset on Sunday afternoon. The collision occurred at approximately 2:25 pm on Sunday, November 11th in the 4650 blocks of Cosumnes Mine Road near North Fork Cosumnes River.
Reportedly, a motorcyclist and a pick-up truck were driving in the area of Cosumnes Mine Road when suddenly and violently they collided head-on. Paramedics rushed to the crash site and rendered aid to the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries upon impact of the collision. The victim was then airlifted to a hospital for treatment of injuries to the kidney, skull, rib, pelvic fracture, and tibia and fibula fractures. The name of the patient and their current physical condition were not immediately available.
As of now, this crash is under an active investigation.
