El Dorado County, CA – One Hospitalized After Head-On Collision on Cedar Ravine Road

El Dorado County, CA (July 24, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a head-on collision that resulted in at least one person severely injured Tuesday morning on Cedar Ravine Road. The injurious crash that apparently left one of the vehicles involved on its side occurred near Diamond Springs at approximately 9:42 a.m.

The report that was filed by the California Highway Patrol confirmed that there were only two vehicles involved in the crash, and no other parties played any role. Emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to attend to anyone who may have been injured in the crash. Paramedics promptly attended to at least one victim who was reported to be suffering from major injuries. The victim was reportedly transported to a local hospital via an air ambulance for treatment. There was no word as to whether or not the other motorist sustained any injuries.

There has been no more information released in regards to the cause of this accident. Likewise, the names of those involved have not been made available at this time. Investigators are presently conducting a full investigation into this accident.
