Pedestrian Accidents in California
Unfortunately, the number of pedestrian fatalities continues to increase in California. To help protect pedestrians, California has a law that requires all drivers to yield or stop as they approach pedestrians. The law states that it doesn’t matter if the pedestrian is illegally crossing the street, vehicles must still be cautious not to strike them since pedestrians don’t wear bodily protection to shield themselves from harm.
The police are currently investigating this accident to determine whether the driver will be held fully or partially responsible for this accident. Depending on what they conclude, Bore’s family could pursue a wrongful death lawsuit with the help of a California wrongful death attorney. An experienced attorney will have the resources to gather enough evidence to prove negligence and help families receive compensation for their losses.
