Elderly Bicyclist Injured After Crash in Valencia, Santa Clarita

Monday afternoon, June 11, a man was taken to the hospital after suffering injuries he sustained in a crash that occurred in front of Westfield Valencia Town Center Mall on Valencia Boulevard. According to The Signal Valley, the accident happened around 2:25 in the afternoon. The Los Angeles County Fire Department stated that the elderly man was riding his bicycle at the time he was hit by the vehicle at the mall. The collision between the vehicle and the bicyclist took place near the intersection of Valencia Boulevard and McBean Parkway.

Paramedics along with firefighters were both on the scene to treat the elderly man for what seemed to be minor injuries. The victim was immediately transported to the hospital for further evaluation. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and neither the name nor the exact condition of the victims’ injuries have been released.
