Elkhorn, CA-Motorcyclist Severely Injured at Castroville Blvd and Archer Rd

Elkhorn, CA (June 3, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported an accident involving a motorcycle at Castroville Boulevard and Archer Road, crash to Manzanita Park. The crash took place on Sunday at approximately 8:39 pm.

The report stated that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Volkswagen Jetta crashed at the intersection. The reason for the accident is unknown at this time.

Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and provided treatment to the motorcyclist, who was severely injured. He was transported to a local hospital for care. His current status and identification were not reported.

The Volkswagen was seriously damaged in the crash. The motorcycle, which was down on the road, was also greatly damaged.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
