Encinitas, CA. Victim of Fatal Motorcycle Crash on South Coast Highway Identified as Carter Yarborough
Encinitas, CA. (June 27, 2018) – The San Diego County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a motorcycle accident that occurred on Sunday, June 24. According to reports, the accident that happened on South Coast Highway at approximately 11:42 a.m. Sunday morning claimed the life 48-year-old Carter Yarborough of San Diego.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred between Yarborough’s motorcycle and an unspecified vehicle. Authorities concluded that Yarborough was riding his motorcycle in the number 1 lane northbound when the undisclosed vehicle apparently swerved into his lane and caused the collision. Emergency crews arrived on the scene and promptly rushed Yarborough to Scripps Memorial Hospital where the victim tragically died from his injuries at 11:55 a.m.
No further information has been made available pertinent to the cause of the crash or the driver of the unknown vehicle.
