Motorcycle Crashes in California
Motorcycles are a primary form of transportation for many people. In a 2016 study, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that most fatal motorcycle accidents occurred in urban areas, at non-intersections, in daylight hours, without precipitation.
In other words, the study found that fatal motorcycle accidents could happen on an average California day, in the type of environment that most commuters encounter: highways in urban and suburban areas.
