Eureka, CA – Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at Myrtle Avenue
Eureka, CA (February 22, 2019) – A hit-and-run pedestrian accident took place on Tuesday afternoon on Myrtle Avenue, according to police, causing injuries to the pedestrian involved.
The accident took place on February 19th around 3:25 p.m. at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Lucas Street when a suspect in a 90s Chevy pickup truck struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was left while the pickup truck driver fled the scene without calling the authorities to report the accident.
The victim was injured due to the collision and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The suspect, on the other hand, has not yet been caught by police. They continue to track the whereabouts of the suspect that struck the pedestrian.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
