Eureka, CA – Injuries Suffered in Pedestrian Accident on Herrick Off-Ramp

Eureka, CA (August 5, 2018) – One person was reported to have suffered injuries after a motor vehicle struck the pedestrian Saturday night on the Herrick off-ramp, according to a local and dependable news source. The injurious accident which occurred at approximately 9:25 p.m. took place on the off-ramp, near the Park and Ride in Eureka.

The news report stated that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and likely sustained at least moderate to severe injuries. However, the events that transpired and led to the accident are not known at this time. Emergency personnel was called to the scene to administer aid to the victim. Statements confirmed that the injured pedestrian received CPR at the scene.
