Fairfield, CA – 1 Killed and 3 Injured in Fatal Car Accident on CA-12

Fairfield, CA (May 8, 2019) On the afternoon of May 7^th, a fatal car accident happened on Highway 12 and Beck Avenue. Four vehicles were stopped at a red light when a vehicle rear-ended a Volkswagen Passat. The Volkswagen then rear-ended a gray Honda sedan, which caused the Honda to rear-end a BMW sedan. The BMW then rear-ended an Audi sedan. The major rear-end collision happened at approximately 3:22 p.m.

When the ambulance arrived at the scene, they found the driver of the Volkswagen fatally injured. They also found three others hurt as a result of the accident.

Authorities are thoroughly investigating this major crash to determine what the contributing factors were.
