Fairfield, CA- Fatal Car Crash at Highway 12 Near Beck Ave

Fairfield, CA (May 10, 2019)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a 21-year-old Suisun City resident identified as Sun-Shawn Hill passed away following an accident on Wednesday at around 3:30 pm.

The CHP report stated that a Volkswagen was hit in the rear by a white service van at the intersection of Beck Avenue on Highway 12. The Volkswagen was stopped at a red light when the collision occurred.

Three additional vehicles subsequently became involved in the crash.

When emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene, they found Hill, the Volkswagen’s driver, fatally injured.

At least two people received minor injury treatment at the crash site, while the driver and passenger in the white van were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries of unknown severity.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
