Fatal Car Crash at Valley Boulevard and Brookline Avenue

Justin Hansen Killed in Crash in Rosemead

Rosemead, CA (June 15, 2018) – A young man died in a fatal car crash that took place near the Valley Boulevard and Brookline Avenue areas at an as-of-yet undisclosed time. Initial reports have revealed the victim as 25-year old Justin Hansen. Law enforcement has identified the vehicle’s driver, 34-year old Adam Chacon, as the culprit.

According to sources, Hansen was a passenger in Chacon’s vehicle. As they headed down the road, Chacon made an unsafe turn, resulting in the terrible accident. Paramedics attended to the pair before they were rushed to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. Despite medical attention, Hansen succumbed to his fatal injuries and died, while Chacon survived.  

After the crash, the Pomona Superior Court charged Chacon on one count of murder, to which Chacon repealed with a plea of “not guilty.” Ultimately, the court set his bail at $2 million.

The cause or motivation behind the accident is still undetermined, and an investigation is ongoing to determine these factors.

A continuing investigation will help officials determine what caused the accident and the untimely death of the victim.
