Fatal Crash at Wible and Wilson Roads in Bakersfield

(June 13, 2018) A local news source in Bakersfield has reported that a 3-car crash led to the death of one person this morning at approximately 5:55 a.m. Initial reports state that several other people were also injured in the crash that occurred at the intersection of Wible and Wilson Roads. Three vehicles were involved altogether including a pickup with an attached trailer, a black Honda, and one other vehicle.

According to reports, the westbound Honda was traveling down Wilson Road when it suddenly collided with the northbound pickup truck. The impact of the collision forced the pickup truck to veer off into the third, unspecified vehicle. The driver of the Honda sadly died at the scene of the crash. Reportedly, the other two drivers involved decided to seek their own medical attention despite suffering from minor injuries. The collision is currently under investigation, and it is still uncertain which driver may have caused the crash.
