Fillmore, CA- Crash on Hwy 126 near Calvin Rd Injures Eleven People

Fillmore, CA (May 29, 2019)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a five-vehicle accident left eleven people injured on Tuesday on Highway 126 (East Telegraph Road) near Calvin Road at approximately 5:30 pm.

The crash occurred for reasons unknown. It resulted in one person being ejected from a vehicle, one vehicle overturning, and one vehicle going 40 feet off the roadway. Emergency medical personnel from the Ventura County Fire Department treated eleven people for injuries, including two people with severe injuries, two with moderate injuries, and seven people for minor injuries. Five people were taken by road ambulance and one person was taken by air ambulance to local hospitals.

The conditions and identities of the victims have not been released to the public at this time.

The crash is under investigation by authorities.
