Firebaugh, CA – Three Victims Require Hospitalization after Traffic Accident at Avenue 7 1/2 and Road 6
Firebaugh, CA (August 7, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that three victims required hospitalization as the result of a traffic accident that took place at the junction of Avenue 7 1/2 and Road 6. CHP originally documented the collision at 3:32 PM in the afternoon on Monday, August 6, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.
Based on the initial CHP log, a group of cars including a black 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, a sedan, and a possible third vehicle were traveling in the Firebaugh area and, for indeterminate reasons, collided at the intersection of Avenue 7 1/2 and Road 6. As a result of the impact, one vehicle slid off the main road and careened into a nearby cotton field.
Sometime later, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and rendered aid to three victims, who sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash. Later, medical personnel transported the patients to a nearby hospital to receive more in-depth treatment. The current conditions of these people have not been immediately disclosed.
As of now, the investigation is ongoing.
