Folsom, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Fatal Bicycle Accident on Willard Dr

Folsom, CA (June 3, 2019) On the morning of June 3^rd, a fatal bicycle accident happened on Willard Drive and Iron Point Road. A vehicle struck a bicyclist for unspecified reasons at around 6:30 a.m. Fortunately, the driver responsible stayed at the scene and waited for emergency crews to arrive.

When the paramedics and police arrived, they found the bicyclist lying in the roadway injured. Despite life-saving attempts, the bicyclist suffered fatal injuries at the scene.

The police are still determining what caused the driver to strike the bicyclist.
