Folsom, CA – Injuries Sustained in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 50
Folsom, CA – (November 20, 2018) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle accident that took place Tuesday morning on a highway in Folsom. The accident occurred at approximately 11:56 am on Highway 50, just east of E Bidwell Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Dodge pickup truck and a black Porsche Cayenne were traveling westbound on Highway 50 when for unknown reasons, they collided into each other. The force of the impact caused the Porsche to overturn about 50 feet off the right-hand shoulder of the freeway. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene of the accident to help the motorists who sustained injuries in the accident. Police are still trying to establish the events leading up to the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
