Fort Bragg, CA – Tracy Lane and Catherine Rhodes are Killed in DUI Crash on Highway 20
Fort Bragg, CA – (November 29, 2018) – A deadly car accident left two Fort Bragg women fatally injured last week on Highway 20 near Willits. The accident was reported just before 8:30 pm.
The preliminary report indicates, 62-year-old Timothy Beltran was driving an unidentified vehicle accompanied by 61-year-old Catherine Rhodes and 50-year-old Tracy Lane when Beltran lost control of the vehicle and landed in an embankment. Police and firefighters immediately rushed to the crash site and paramedics helped the injured victims, sadly, Tracy Lane was pronounced dead at the scene upon the arrival of first responders. Meanwhile, Catherine Rhodes sustained major injuries and was rushed to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for emergency surgery. Shortly after her admittance, Rhodes tragically died of her injuries. There are still many circumstances surrounding the accident that remain unresolved.
