Bad Weather and Liability
Bad weather can cause dangerous road conditions that can cause a larger number of car accidents. If you are hurt in an accident that takes place in bad weather, who is at fault?
The answer depends on the facts and exactly what happened. What was the amount of negligence by the driver and how much did the weather come into play?
In any car accident, your auto accident attorney needs to determine negligence and the amount of liability that applies to the driver in the accident. While bad weather can affect driving conditions and make it more common to have a crash, drivers still must drive responsibly and safely. A driver who is careless in bad weather conditions and causes a crash will still be negligent and liable.
