Fortuna, CA – Woman Injured in Bicycle Accident at 16th and Main St.

Fortuna, CA (June 1, 2019) – An accident involving a bicycle and a vehicle occurred on Friday evening, which injured the bike’s rider.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31 at 16th and Main St.

The accident happened when the vehicle pulled out in front of a bicyclist and the two collided.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid to the injured bicyclist. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation for injuries to her shoulder and leg.
