Fresno, CA- Belmont Ave. Near Highway 99 Scene of Pedestrian Hit-and-Run
Fresno, CA (April 16, 2019)- A female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle as she walked on Belmont Avenue near Highway 99 early Monday morning. According to reports, the crash occurred at around midnight, when she was hit by a dark SUV driving west on Belmont.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop following the collision. Emergency medical personnel arriving at the scene found the woman with major injuries. She was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
No further details, including the woman’s name, have been released at this time.
The crash is under investigation.
