Fresno, CA – Driver Plows into Multiple Vehicles on Highway 180
Fresno, CA (March 10, 2019) – A driver, a man believed to be in his 30s, was arrested when he drove his car into multiple other vehicles on Highway 180 and attempted to flee the scene.
The unidentified man was thought to have been driving while intoxicated around 8:30 p.m. when he crossed the center median and drove his vehicle westbound onto the eastbound lanes of Highway 180, east of Academy Avenue.
After hitting the three other vehicles, the man tried to flee, but police soon caught up to him after about a mile away. The man has been booked into Fresno County Jail and is going to be charged with felony DUI and hit-and-run.
The victims in the other cars that were struck by the man retained moderate injuries.
