Fresno, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Traffic Accident on Hayes Avenue

Fresno, CA, – (November 25, 2018) – One person was hospitalized late Saturday night following a major auto-pedestrian accident in Fresno. The collision took place at approximately 11:50 pm on North Hayes Avenue, just north of Shields Avenue.

According to officials, a pedestrian was walking along North Hayes Avenue when suddenly an oncoming vehicle failed to stop and slammed into the victim. According to first responders, the victim sustained multiple injuries to the neck and face. Paramedics responded to the scene and used an ambulance to transport the victim to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. The current physical condition of the victim was immediately unknown.

Authorities are still conducting an investigation into this accident.
