Fresno County, CA – 1 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 Near Mendota

Fresno County, CA (March 12, 2019) – According to California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 5, near Russell Avenue, during the early morning hours of March 12^th.

The 1:30 a.m. crash involved a car, a tow truck, and three semi-trucks. One victim was transported to a hospital via air ambulance.

CHP reports that, while the cause of the accident currently is unknown, an earlier accident involving two different semi-trucks may have played a part.
