Fulton, CA – Crash With Recology Truck Kills One On River Rd. Near Hwy 101

Fulton, CA (May 11, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a Recology truck occurred on May 10th at 4:45 a.m., that took the life of one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred near a U.S. Highway 101 overpass.

Sergio Ramirez, 50, of Santa Rosa was traveling in the truck west on River Road when it collided head-on with a Honda that was moving east in the westbound lane of River Road. The truck driver braked to try and avoid the collision and the Honda driver tried to swerve to the right but was unsuccessful.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers. Sadly, the driver of the Honda Civic did not survive his injuries from this accident and died at the scene.
