Galt, CA – Two People Injured in Accident on Highway 99

Galt, CA – (November 26, 2018) – Two people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident Monday morning in Galt. The accident took place at approximately 6:43 am on Highway 99, just south of the Twin Cities Road on-ramp.

Reportedly, two unidentified vehicles were traveling northbound on Highway 99 when for unknown reasons they collided. Emergency crews rushed to the crash site to render aid to the injured victims. At least two people were transported to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries they sustained in the accident. According to officials, a separate three-vehicle collision happened at the same scene a short time later. Authorities are still trying to determine what transpired prior to this crash.

As of now, this accident is under investigation.
