Pedestrian Accidents in California
In 2013, about 225,000 pedestrians were injured in California after being hit by vehicles. The reasons so many pedestrians sustain injuries is usually because of negligent drivers on the roads not paying attention to the road even though they’re required to by law. California law states that drivers must always yield to the right-of-way of pedestrians no matter the time of day or the circumstance.
