Garden Valley, CA – Serious Injury Crash on Georgetown Road and Black Oak Mine Road

Garden Valley, CA (August 7, 2018) – A report released by the California Highway Patrol stated that a collision that resulted in major injuries apparently transpired Tuesday afternoon on Georgetown Road at Black Oak Mine Road in Garden Valley. The collision was reported to have taken place between two vehicles at approximately 12:47 p.m.

According to the report filed by the California Highway Patrol, the two vehicles involved were a Jeep Cherokee SUV and a Chevrolet Blazer. Paramedics and other medical personnel were immediately called to the scene in order to provide aid to the injured parties. Both of the victims were quickly transported to a local hospital to undergo treatment for their injuries.

The roadway was blocked for a short time by the damaged vehicles following the wreck. However, no further information was provided in regards to the events that caused the collision. Neither the names nor the exact conditions of the victims’ injuries have been released at this time. The circumstances surrounding this accident are currently under investigation by authorities.
