Gardena, CA- Deadly Pedestrian Accident Reported on Rosecrans Ave

Gardena, CA (May 6, 2019)- A pedestrian crossing Rosecrans Avenue near Denker Avenue was hit and killed at approximately 10 pm on Saturday.

Reports stated that the pedestrian was found unconscious in the road. While Los Angeles County Fire Department first responders provided aid to the man, he passed away from his injuries soon after the crash.

Few details are available about the accident. However, a passenger or driver in a gray sedan that was involved in the accident reported the crash to officials.

Whether anyone else was injured in the collision is unknown at this time.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
