Gilman Hot Springs, CA – Zulfiqar Chaudhry Killed in Fatal Vehicle Crash on Sanderson Avenue

Gilman Hot Springs, CA (January 30, 2019) On the night of January 29^th, a fatal vehicle crash happened at about 11:14 p.m. on Sanderson Avenue, also known as State Route 79. According to the reports, two vehicles crashed into each other, which sent one of the vehicles over the embankment, just south of Gilman Springs Road.

When emergency crews arrived, they found one person trapped inside of their vehicle and extricated them as soon as they could. Unfortunately, a 72-year-old man named Zulfiqar Chaudhry was fatally injured and another person was transported to a nearby hospital for unknown injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating this accident to determine causation and liability.

We are sorry to find out that Chaudhry lost his life in this accident. His family is in our thoughts as they try to overcome this difficult time. We hope the other injured victim fully recovers from all injuries without any complications.
